PJ's driving school, well what can I say; my first encounter with PJ was when my eldest daughter was learning to drive. We had booked 10 lessons with a lady-driving instructor and as the weeks went by hearing what each lesson had contained we were getting worried! With 10 lessons under her belt she still had not gone onto a large busy roundabout (if you live in Stevenage you would know how hard that was to avoid). We asked around about other driving schools and someone recommended PJ. Well after 1 lesson with him she had lost count of how many roundabouts she had successfully encounter, her confidence grew from there on and she passed her driving test first time.

When my next daughter was of driving age, no questions asked I phoned PJ straight away but this time he was working with a pupil that really wasn't that keen on driving, but even with this her confidence grew again and she to passed her driving test first time.

Now my youngest daughter is 17 and the only number we need is PJ's and I know that he'll push, praise and encourage her like he has before with her sisters. I know that he'll put her in for her test only when he fells she will pass even if she feels its to soon or not soon enough!

I am happy to entrust him with my children and would be very happy to recommend him to others.

When I first started driving I had an instructor who didn't seem to trust me behind the wheel. On lessons we only ever went around one particular area and I never learned any manouvers. I decided that with this instructor I wasn't going to get anywhere so I gave up.

After two years I decided it was time I learned to drive and be independent.

I looked through the Yellow Pages and PJ's advert jumped out at me. When I called he was very friendly and answered all my questions helpfully. He said he had a lesson free that afternoon so I went for it.

Now, 6 months later I have just passed my driving test and am so happy I tried again.

PJ was the most patient teacher, and explained everything so that I understood. When I didn't get something right we went back and did it again so I could get it right. He made me feel like everything I was doing was okay and boosted my confidence no end. I felt like he trusted me to drive and that I could drive well.

I owe PJ a lot, because he's given me guidance and the confidence to be a good driver.

I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn to drive and a bit sorry to have passed my test because I won't need lessons anymore.

I have been having driving lessons for about two months with PJ's. From the very first lesson he filled me with confidence in my driving, he not only teaches you how to drive but the reason for doing set manoeuvres. You learn something new every lesson as well as practicing moves you have learned in other lessons, so you are never bored. I would recommend PJ's to anyone.
