I was recommended to Pj through my cousin who had been learning to drive with him, and a few days after my 17th birthday I went for my first lesson. I was really nervous to begin with, but after going through the controls of the car, and the basics of the road, I was soon on my way! I always found that PJ took his time when it came to my lessons, and he never rushed to get to his next client if we needed to work on something. Although having said that, he was very rarely late to my own lessons, and if he was going to be five or ten minutes late he would always let me know in advance. I found Pj to be reliable, and was often able to have the same slots each week to make it easier for me with school etc. However during exams and things he was also quite flexible when it came to changing these slots to suit my revision schedule. Pj always gave really useful constructive criticism to enable me to move forward on the next lesson and it is because of this that I have recommended Pj to several other friends, one of which is now taking lessons with him, and would continue to do so in the future if anyone was to ask. I also found the prices of the lessons to be reasonable; in line with most other driving schools. Of course, there is also the option to buy in bulk which turns out cheaper. Pj also helped me by sending off for both my theory and practical test, to save me the time, effort (and confusion!), and leading up to the theory gave me two example mock tests each week to ensure that by the time my test came around, I had seen practically every style of question several times, meaning I passed first time, scoring 50 out of 50 on the question part. When it came to my practical test, Pj encouraged a lot of private driving with my dad and advised me if I needed to slot in a few extra lessons just to make sure I was ready for the test. (Although I never felt as though he was dragging the lessons out.) Because of the above I would like to thank Pj, as I passed my practical test first time on 15th June after just over 6 months of learning, and I really enjoyed the experience.
